Federal leisure training - French School Ffessm
The FFESSM, or French Federation of Submarine Studies and Sports , offers various diving training for diving lovers in France. These training courses are designed to allow divers to gradually acquire the skills necessary for an autonomous and secure dive, while respecting the safety standards and the regulations in force.
Each new technical capacity acquired corresponds to know-how and knowledge.
The technical patent of diver will be materialized by a card which attests to the level of competence of a diver. Each diving level corresponds to a specific card. Here is a general description of the level cards commonly issued by the FFESSM:
- Level 1 card (N1) - Framed diver up to 20m - International 1 star CMAS certification
- The N1 card is issued to divers having successfully completed level 1 training.
- She attests that the diver is capable of diving framed up to a depth of 20 meters.
- Level 2 card (N2) - Autonomous diver - 2 -star CMAS international certification
- The N2 card is awarded to divers having validated level 2 training.
- It certifies that the diver is able to dive independently up to 20 meters and up to 40 meters framed.
- Level 3 map (N3) - Grand depth autonomous diver - International certification: 3 CMAS stars
- The N3 card is given to the divers having successfully completed level 3.
- It indicates that the diver can dive independently up to 60 meters.
Patents are recognized internationally (FFESSM - CMAS) as part of the Global Confederation of underwater activities which brings together nearly 90 countries.
Registration for all our training does not imply a compulsory level validation.

N1 internship qualified as "genial" by our 2 teenagers aged 13 and 14 who are delighted and already dream of the continuation next year. Very trainer internship obviously, but also very interesting by explorations of very nice sites and meetings with the Mediterranean fauna
remarkable, very professional and competent and also friendly and warm which ensures the training of dives of all levels. Spacious premises, comfortable and super well equipped with both technical materials (various inflation and material) and comfort (showers, changing rooms, lockers, living room, large table, etc.).
